More about me
Just for those of you who don't know me...
I love computers, Wii, programming, writing, books, art, card games, and...um...freeze tag!
Computers--I've been using them since I was playing Reader Rabbit Toddler when I was four and now I can basically do everything in Microsoft Word.
Wii--hmm, we got one just about last year and my Mii is a pro in all the Wii Sports except for boxing! :)

Programming--my dad has been a Visual Basic programmer for a long time. He decided he would enjoy learning Java, as the portability issues with Visual Basic were nagging at him. Now, he was planning to teach me a little programming, so he decided that we could learn Java together! He downloaded me a how-to-program-Java-for-kids (it was more like a type-in-this-program-and-watch-it sort of book), but one day he handed me Java How to Program 4/e (a college textbook) and said, "Here, Alison, read the second chapter. You probably won't get it, but it might sound familiar when you read the other book." I slogged through the first example and everything after that was much easier. Since then programming is one of my favorite hobbies!

Writing--I love writing and books and I've written some unpublished novels and one published paragraph.

Art--relaxing to do while my mom reads to me. I'm not very serious about art. I just do it.

Card games--Rummy, Knuckles, and Pitch rock!

Freeze tag--Big games of freeze tag with lots of people and interesting layout are one of life's great inventions :) I use to play freeze tag every week with ten people. That was awesome!!!
